Clowns and their ilk - was: Offensive Letterboxes

From: Lightnin Bug (rpboehme@yahoo.com) | Date: 2005-05-27 11:09:55 UTC
Has anybody every seen the cheesy 80's movie "Killer Klowns from
Outer Space?" A truly bizarre goofy movie that apparently has a
following. I was channel surfing one evening and got "sucked in." I
will be carving up a Killer Klown HH to provide to the non-clown fan
I mentioned a couple posts ago.

Heard of it? As the proud owner of both the VHS and DVD editions of
KKFOS, I applaud your effort to expose clowns for the evil buggers
they are.

I would also like to say that I'm very, very jealous I didn't think of
this first...

Thank god....there is someone as cheesy as me! I just finished a
stamp for my "Bad Seed" letter box. If you haven't seen this classic,
you haven't lived! lol

The Killer Klown HH stamp is ready and will be going to VA in a
PLB. So, if you are near the area, you may know the soon to be
recipient. ;-)

Same thing happened to me... saw only a snippet of the movie but that
was enough. I don't like clowns, carve away.

I LOVE the Bad Seed. It is one of my all time favorite movies. When I
read the Killer Klown thread it popped into my mind and I
thought "that needs a box". I'll let that one rst and move on to
other 'bad' flicks.

Killer Klowns From Outer Space! Great movie. Got it on VHS. Great idea for a HH.
Day of the Triffids is another good movie. Good candidate for a box. There was a letterbox Attack of the Killer Tomatoes at the Mansfield Monster Mash last October but that was only out for the month. Excellent choice for a letterbox but a god awful and long movie. Too crazy for me. Looks like we have a small group of B movie lovers in letterboxing.....Chuck and Molly

Very funny. Someone on the mid-atlantic board just did a Killer
Tomatoes and it was Triffids that I was thinking of. I can't remember
the names of the other films. One was about a group of people stuck
in a house surrounded by attacking huge alien tusked boars. The worst
was a sci-fi movie with the alien being represented by a guy dressed
in a gorilla suit and a plastic bubble helmet. Gosh I'd love to see
them again.

What about The Toxic Avenger from 1986. We actually paid money to see
this at the theater. Fortunately, we had the good cents, er sense, to
get up and leave. It was THAT bad!
